Brake distance

We all have brakes (and those few who do not are sick). Some have race brakes, others bicycle brakes. Some have new and others old and worn out. No matter which we have, we all need to practice using them. Know our personal braking distance. Learn to use them so well, that all stops will become smooth, calm and controlled.

When we have mastered braking, the most importantly thing is then to be awake. Awake and aware of our own speed, and of those around us.
