Meaning/Mystery

It seems like the more information we have, the less meaning there is. Like knowing is somehow a curse? Religion is meaningful because of the mystery and uncertainty. Without it, what would it be? Imagine we knew we would go to heaven, knew exactly what that was, and which rules to follow, down to the detail, to get there. It wouldn't be religion anymore would it? Heh, I think we would probably rebel against it if that was the case.
