Siege
A deafening roar of wrecked stone and wood shook through the building, as yet another massive boulder was flung into the city. Hitting what must have been barely a block away, the impact violent enough to send dust and debris flying through the small basement room. You feel your eyes water as you step back to the table. "As I was say-" you choke, trying to clear your throat, only managing to suck in even more dust. "If they break through in many places at once, we won't be able to hold them off. If we are to have a fighting chance... " another thunder, this time farther away "... we need to control where we fight them. Take the fight to them, on our terms."
