Did you ever consider that the root of the meaning of life is irrational? That √42 is in radical form, and can never be reduced. If you wanted to write down the precise essence of the meaning of life you would be writing decimals until the day you die, without ever getting to the end.

Note: It's actually fairly easy to prove mathematically that the meaning of life is fundamentally Love between two people. If you approximate the root of 42 you get 6. And with that approximation, the only thing you need to get to the precise meaning is more 6. Proof: 6^2 = 36. 42-36 = 6.

So, without further ado: The meaning of life = Sex to the power of two, plus more sex.

Note 2: The funny thing is that this is exactly how many religious discussions go. Everything is about the factuality of the above mathematical statement. But if we question the premise, if we question 42 itself, the math proof gets blatantly silly, if it wasn’t so already...
