Inexperienced Experience
When we start to analyse movies (arcs, props, narrative, structure, the use of light, sound) many seem to lose the joy of watching a movie for what it is. Loose the ability to feel that simple child-like blissful joy. The illusion shatters and there can be no suspension of disbelieve. We cannot help but judge and overthink every little detail.
Is that maybe why we remember the movies of our youths as better?
It is the same for music and literature.
Is it true for life too...?
